Missing the small things

It's funny what a wife misses about her husband when he's not home. Set aside from the obvious physical affection, there are the things like.....

He's fallen asleep in the recliner while watching TV, startling himself when he starts to snore. LOL Waking up when I turn the channel, having him say, "I was watching that." LOL

Weird, I know, but it's the small things that I've missed.

Running around like a chicken w/it's head cut off!!!

Ok...hubby is home safe and sound and bedded well with a great big smile of both of our faces!!! LOL

Now the RT scramble really begins!!! All the last minute stuff that had to wait until he was home is in the works...dress uniforms fitted and cleaned...dresses fitted and cleaned...hair cuts for the kids...color for me...and the packing....and packing....and packing.....

Good grief I hope I don't forget something!!!!! Making sure the kids and the hubby is in the car might be the first thing to do, huh? LOL

Time to decorate!

So here is where the fun begins....LOL

This place looks a bit bare....so I need to add a few pictures to the walls, toss a couple of throw pillows around, put a big fluffy rug in front of the fireplace!

This is my son, Otto when we took him to camp last summer and my daughter, Clarisa receiving her American Girl Doll that I won for her at our local Books-A-Million last school year!

The further I go in this lovely business of writing, the more I want to make myself available to you, dear readers.

So, on that....I have created a blog!!!
