Jaedin is a medic in the Army and is on an emergency to aid those in need when her team is suddenly attacked by the enemy and things start blowing up. When she wakes up from that, she begins to search for survivors and finds one of her friends. Pulling him to safety was the last thing she was able to do before being swept into very strong winds and knocked unconscious. She awakens to find herself in 1300
Aiden finds Jaedin on his way to his brother's keep and quickly bundles her up and takes her with him.
Their journey together is interesting while they try to figure each other out. Of course, they may not be able to fully understand each other before Jaedin is suddenly swept into another storm and taken from Aiden...
I don't want to give the ending away, but I did like what I read. It's a short read, and really needs to be lengthened for a bit more detail, and needs a small amount of editing done for misspelled words, commas, quotation marks... ect.
